The First Pan African Nurse Anesthetist Conference hopes tobring together nurse anesthetists, anesthesia providers, policy makers, and representatives from international agencies, non-governmental organizations, pharmaceutical & equipment manufacturers, and donors to focus on strengthening quality life-saving anesthesia care for pregnant women. The three-day event hopes to put the spotlight on key issues including availability, accessibility, acceptability and quality of anesthesia care for the most vulnerable and under-served population.
